Masjid Sadar and Community Center Children’s Evening School.
Our children are a critical part of our community; they are our future leaders, lawyers, teachers, mothers, fathers, and so much more! With their growth in mind, Masjid Sadar and Community Center has established the Children’s Weekend School for them to flourish. Aside from attaining knowledge in Arabic and Quran studies, these programs have one mission in mind: establishing a firm belief in Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (SWT) that no outside influence can shake. With a myriad of cultures, religions, and ideas around our children, it is important for them to have a strong understanding of their Muslim identity. We aim not only to teach but to inspire. We hope to inspire our students to love the way of the righteous, pious, and inheritors of Jannah. We hope to inspire them to soften their hearts to the worship of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala (SWT), so when they are faced with obstacles and decisions, they are comfortable and confident in the truth.
Our Children’s Weekday Evening Program runs Monday to Thursday, 5:45 pm – 7 pm.
The programs include learning the following:
- Complete Qaidah
- Tajweed Rules
- Quran Memorization/Recitation
- Steps of Wudu and Salah
- Faraid and Sunan in Ibada
- Adab and Akhlaq
- Dua
- Lessons from the Prophets’ stories
- And much more!
