Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters in our community and around the world.
Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, and increased devotion and worship to Allah (SWT).
You who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be mindful of God.
It is a time to renew our commitment to the teachings of Islam, and to strengthen our connection with Allah (SWT) through prayer, fasting, and acts of kindness and charity towards others.
I encourage all of our community members to take full advantage of this blessed month. Let us strive to deepen our understanding of the Quran and the Hadith, and to apply their teachings to our daily lives. Let us make sincere efforts to increase our acts of worship, and to seek forgiveness for our past mistakes and shortcomings.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed, and the devils are chained.” (Sahih Bukhari)
This is a special time when the mercy and blessings of Allah (SWT) are showered upon us abundantly. Let us take advantage of this opportunity to draw closer to Allah (SWT) and to seek His forgiveness and guidance.
I pray that this Ramadan brings peace, blessings, and prosperity to our community and to the entire ummah. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us His mercy and forgiveness.
Ramadan Kareem!
Sincerely,
Ust: Nazimool Saheb
