For the Masjid Sadar Art Competition for Kids, we invited our youth to put their creative power to the test. Children ages 5-12 were asked to use their skills and create art pieces featuring a masjid. They had full freedom to use any medium they wanted to create their artwork. The competition consisted of 3 age groups including, ages 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12.
Each age group had 3 winners:
- Ibrahim Siddiqi, Minha Siddiqi, Adeeb Mahmood for ages 5-7
- Aiza Baig, Enaya Siddiqi, Amber Khan for ages 8-10
- Amina Adeel, Safiyah Ghani, Amima Baig for ages 11-12
Our three judges, Maryam Shahid, Zeenat Zafar and Anisa Ismail based their decisions on creativity, and how well every artist incorporated the theme. All of the winners put their own unique twist in their art works as well as embody the theme of the competition beautifully. SubhanAllah, all artists who participated put so much effort in their works; it was very admirable.
